Our Services

Tax preparation and planning for individuals

We prepare tax returns for individuals and their families. While we offer fixed pricing, our fees are based on the overall complexity of the return.  We've no doubt that we offer the best value available, but if you need to know how we price our services, we'll be happy to email you our pricing schedule.

Our price includes the following:

  • Preparation of your federal individual return and any state returns (we file all states)

  • E-filing of your tax return

  • Phone and e-mail consultations throughout the year

  • We offer the option of deducting our fees from your refund (subject to additional bank product fees).

Tax preparation and planning for small businesses

We prepare tax returns for sole proprietorships, corporations, S corporations, limited liability companies, and partnerships. Our fees are based on the complexity of your business structure and the quality of your recordkeeping.  Our fees generally include the following:

  • Preparation of your federal business return (or individual return with Schedule C)

  • Preparation of your Florida corporate return

  • Adjusting your year-end journal entries

  • Phone and e-mail consultations throughout the year

  • An annual review to discuss your potential tax liability and tax saving strategies.

Review of individual tax returns from prior years

To err is human, right? Well, experience has shown us that tax preparation is fraught with pitfalls, and mistakes are common. We routinely find errors in previous years' tax returns completed both by individuals and by seasoned professionals. We will be happy to review your previous tax returns. When you are entitled to a higher refund than you received or would like any errors corrected, we can prepare amended returns for a discounted fee.

If you did not file tax returns in prior years and received no IRS letters (it usually takes two years from the filing due date for them to arrive), this often means that you overpaid your tax through withholdings and are owed a refund.  There is a three-year statutory limit to claim that refund.

If you need to file or amend prior year returns because you have received a letter from the IRS, we can also help with that. If you do not file a tax return, the IRS files the return for you based on the information that they have on record. They will not add any deductions for your spouse, children, mortgage, etc. and your taxes will be significantly higher.

Please note that the provision of these services will be restricted during the busy months of the tax season.

Solving existing tax problems and renegotiating tax debt

  • Wage garnishments and bank levies

  • Tax liens and lien releases

  • Installment agreements

  • Offer in compromise agreements

  • IRS audits and appeals

  • Innocent spouse relief

  • Real property and personal property tax

  • Sales and payroll tax.

Other tax returns

We prepare tax returns for tax-exempt organizations, estates and trusts, as well as gift returns.

Tax-exempt organizations

Although usually there is no tax to pay, most tax-exempt organizations are still required to file annual information returns.

Estates and trusts – Forms 1041 and 706

You may find yourself in the role of a trustee or an executor without preparation or during a stressful life event, like the death of a loved one. We are here to help you understand how the tax law applies to your situation and give you peace of mind as you handle the affairs of the estate or trust.

Gift returns – Form 709

Gift tax rules don’t prohibit a donor from making gifts, but if more than the annual exclusion (2021: $15,000; 2022: $16,000; 2023: $17,000) is given to any one recipient, the donor is required to file a gift tax return for the year.
